UTK COLLEGE OF COMMUNICATIONS ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT

I am a proud alumnus of the University of Tennessee where I received a degree in  Communications and a minor in Political Science. It’s hard to believe it’s been 25 years since I entered the professional arena. It was a great privilege and full circle moment for me to be interviewed by my alma mater about my career in Broadcast Journalism. As a college student, I interned at WBIR-TV and returned to Knoxville as a professional, spending 20 years of my journalism career on the anchor desk at the NBC affiliate.
